MAY YOU LIVE BEYOND ME, A POEM OF COJOINED FREEDOMS

May You Live Beyond Me
A Poem Of Co-joined Freedoms

I fear not your freedom
If I may see you fly
To where the clouds are home.
If your dreams could take wing
May they take you ever
To places of beauty
And love.
Yet,
Not all freedom is wise,
But where it is good I wish
I could give you the wings
That lift you on its winds.
I shall regret not
The pain your freedom gives-
Because your dreams are mine.
So, go, answer your call
And follow the sun.
I shall always treasure
Seeing you rise in flight
As you forever go.
