He Makes Us Worthy,  A Poem of The Companion

Shadows
Stand between us
And the light
Like stone towers
Forbidding us
To pass,
But
We are pilgrims
Small and alone
Traveling with an
Unseen brother.
We are Gypsies
Making music
In a foreign land.
Our voices
Bring the words
Of a far tongue
And the message
Of His light. 

He became one of us
So He could bring us home.
